Mandarin Agogo is located on the corner of Soi 14 of Walking Street Pattaya. It opened its doors in October 2012 and has the same owners as Shark, Fahrenheit, Lighthouse, Crazy House and Palace agogo bars, among others. It is a member of the so called French bars group.
As the name suggested, Mandarin Agogo is decorated in an oriental theme with big red sign and painting which is hard to miss. It is a small to medium size gogo bar with a long stage in the centre surrounded by comfortable seating and sofas along the wall. The light and sound system is good, not too dark or too loud. It is quite a cozy place to sit back, chit chat, and enjoy drinking. There are about 40-50 good-looking dancers on rotation – mostly coyotes.
At the time of writing drink prices are moderate; draft beer is 70 baht all night, bottled beer is 130 baht, lady drinks are 125-180 baht, and cocktails are 170 baht.
Mandarin Agogo is open every night. If you expect something new about the gogo scenes on Walking Street, you might be disappointed as it’s not really any different from others at all.
